Big clocks. Round clocks. Thick clocks. Skinny clocks. Small but potent clocks. Digital and analog clocks! Yay clocks!
Okay, I clearly love clocks. There are four in my living room alone. But I want more! As if my overabundance of something is going to stop me from acquiring more of it… who do you think I am?
Here are several clocks lurking in my apartment right now:
I got this delicate green monster during my shades of green phase (I’m such a masochist) from Target. It’s simple, modern, and reminds me of pea soup! I love it dearly.
This is the newest clock in my house, which obviously means it’s my favorite. I got it from Domino just last week. I’m a huge fan of faceless clocks because it makes me try real hard to figure out what time it is– so I know if I’m having a stroke or not, obvi. If I wasn’t so lazy I’d be an advocate for faceless clocks for every oldster and hypochondriac in the Americas!
This thick beast, from Fab, is a yummy shade of blue and sports popsicle stick hands– so playful… like a kitten! It reminds me of summer and ice cream bars. And because I’m on a diet, I might rip off the wall and lick it. So, yay!
As you know, my love is often fleeting, so I need to add to my collection of lovelies. Below are the clocks I’m considering. I’d buy them all, but Douglas might give me the stank eye… and the stanky legg for good measure. If you were me (aka a glorified dog petter and sitter) which clock would you purchase?
Clocks A and B are large and in charge! C and D are all about the arrows, which is a running theme in my decor! And clocks E and F are mid-century beauties! I GROUPED THEM IN MOTIFS! HOW MARTHA STEWART IS THAT?!
Okay, no poll today, but leave your thoughts in the comments. I promise to read them and take them into consideration because you people are so incredibly beautishcmal.
Here’s a bonus what-the-hell-was-this-post-really-about shot of Ms. Nola! That’s some good camera work, Mr. Douglas!
